Ngā mahi/ What we do

What Our Services Are
Our Social Services provide wraparound, whānau-centred support. This means we look at the whole picture, not just one issue at a time. Services may include:
Whānau Navigation and Advocacy
We walk alongside whānau to help make sense of different services and systems. Our role is to support, guide, and advocate, ensuring whānau feel heard, respected, and confident in the decisions they make.
Wellbeing and Whānau Ora Support
We support the overall wellbeing of whānau in a way that reflects their strengths and aspirations. Through a Whānau Ora approach, we help build resilience, strengthen connections, and support whānau to thrive together.
Health and Hauora Support
We support whānau to access the care they need while nurturing all aspects of wellbeing – tinana, hinengaro, wairua, and whānau. Our focus is on keeping whānau well, informed, and supported.
Housing and Financial Wellbeing
We work alongside whānau to support housing needs and financial wellbeing. This includes helping navigate options, building confidence, and supporting pathways toward stability and security.
Community and Cultural Connection
We create opportunities for whānau to connect with their culture, community, and identity. Through kaupapa Māori initiatives, we help strengthen a sense of belonging and collective wellbeing.
What We Do
We do not replace other services. Instead, we walk alongside whānau, helping to coordinate support and remove barriers, while encouraging independence and self-determination.

Our navigators:
Build trusting, respectful relationships with whānau
Listen to whānau stories, needs, and aspirations
Support whānau-led planning and goal setting
Connect whānau to the right services at the right time

Uphold mana, dignity, and confidentiality at all times
